Residents come out to support stormwater plan in Winnetka

A $4.3 million plan to alleviate flooding in northwest Winnetka received the enthusiastic support of about 15 residents of that area who showed up for a recent Village Council meeting. The project, part of Winnetka's $41.1 million stormwater program, aims to improve drainage for homes in the Forest Glen neighborhood, on Greenwood Avenue and on other side streets along the nearby section of Tower Road.
